Using LocalDial with the In-App Dialer

Dialing a prospect from an area code that is local to them increases the chances that they will take the call, giving you more opportunities to connect, book qualified demos and close deals! With SalesLoft Platform's LocalDial, you can easily mock the area codes you're calling, increasing your connect rate by up to 400%!

Enabling LocalDial

Step 1: Navigate to "Settings" and select "Dialer." Then, navigate to the "LocalDial Settings" tab.

Step 2: Click the green button to agree to the billing terms and activate LocalDial.

Enabling/Disabling LocalDial for Team Members

Once LocalDial is activated, you will need to enable it for your team members.

Step 1: Navigate to "Settings" and select "Dialer." Then, navigate to the "LocalDial Settings" tab.

Step 2: To enable LocalDial for a team member, first select the "Disabled" list, then click "Enable" next to the team member's name. To disable LocalDial for a team member, first select the "Enabled" list, then click "Disable" next to the team member's name.

Using LocalDial

From the Dial Pad: Simply click the dial pad and start dialing! If you want to disable LocalDial, click the blue "LocalDial" button and the in-app dialer will place the call from your provisioned number.

While Running a Call Step: Just start dialing! Once LocalDial is enabled, it will automatically be utilized while you're running your call steps. Talk about efficiency!

Viewing LocalDial Numbers

Navigate to "Settings" and select "Dialer." Then, navigate to the "LocalDial Settings" tab. The "LocalDial Numbers" box displays your currently purchased LocalDial numbers along with their prospective metropolitan area.

 

Whitelist an Area Code

You can whitelist certain area codes to be the only numbers provisioned. Head to "Settings," and then choose "Dialer." Click "LocalDial Settings" and add your area codes to the "Whitelists" area. This will prevent our app from purchasing a local dial number for any number that is not whitelisted. 

 

Helpful Tips:

  • Your account will be charged $1 for each new LocalDial telephone number on a monthly recurring basis. Once a new telephone number is acquired, it is available for use by all of your team members. Click here to learn more about LocalDial pricing.
