Using the People Tab

The People Tab is designed to help you better import, sort, filter and take action on your Cadence contacts. 

From the People Tab, you can:


Import, Export and View your import history

To import new contacts, select "People Actions," the blue box in the righthand corner. Then select "Add Person," and complete your import using your desired method.

To export contacts, select "Export People" from the "People Actions" menu.

To view your import history, select "View Import History" from the "People Actions" menu.

Sort & filter contacts

To sort and filter, click the appropriate icon next to the People Actions button.

You can filter by:

  • User(s)
  • Cadence
  • Cadence stage
  • Import group
  • Tag(s)

You can sort by:

  • Date Imported
  • Name
  • Cadence Name
  • Cadence Stage
  • Total calls
  • Email metrics (sent, open, clicked, replied)

To remove filtering or sorting, click the "Clear" link on the toolbar.

Update a contact's owner in SalesLoft

Step 1: Click the checkbox(es) next to the contact(s) you want to reassign.

Step 2: Click the "Update Owner" icon, then select the team member you want to reassign your contact(s) to.

Note: Any contact imported by you is automatically assigned to you.

Assign a Contact to a Cadence

Step 1: Click the checkbox(es) next to the contact(s) you want to assign to a cadence.

Step 2: Click the Add to Cadence icon and select the cadence to add your contact(s) to.

Assign a Contact to a Company

Step 1: Select the contact(s) you want to assign to a company.

Step 2: Click the Companies icon.

Step 3: Type in the company you want to assign your contact(s) to, then click "Link."

Send a One-Off Email

Step 1: Click the checkbox(es) next to the contact(s) you want to send a one-off email to.

Step 2: Click the One-Off Email icon, then draft your one-off email, or select an email template, and send your one-off as normal.

Update a Contact's Stage

Step 1: Click the checkbox(es) next to the contact(s) for which you want to update their cadence stage.

Step 2: Click the "Stage" icon and update your contact(s) stage.

 

 



Assign/Remove Tags on a Contact

Step 1: Click the checkbox(es) next to the contact(s) you want to add tags to or remove tags from.

Step 2: Click the Tags icon. Click "Add Tags" to add tags or "Remove Tags" to delete tags.


 

Mark a Contact as Do Not Contact or Delete the Contact from Salesloft

Step 1: Click the checkbox(es) next to the contact(s) you want to mark as Do Not Contact or delete.

Step 2: Click the More Actions gear icon, then select Mark Do Not Contact or Delete.
