Using SalesLoft's Cadence Workflow

SaleLoft's cadence workflow is designed to make the cadence execution process efficient, flexible and dynamic. With the workflow, running your cadence steps is an easy and seamless part of your SalesLoft process.

Executing Email Steps

Step 1: Select "Preview and Run" next to the email step on your Cadences To-Do List.

Step 2:  The new workflow pane will appear. Sort your list as you'd like using the sorting features at the top.

Step 3: Click on a contact to begin sending emails. You have the option to:

  • Edit your emails and send immediately, by selecting "Send & Edit Next"
  • Edit your emails and send at a later time, by selecting the calendar icon
  • Send your emails in bulk immediately, by selecting "Send All"
  • Schedule your emails to be sent in bulk, by selecting "Schedule All"

 

 

 

 


 

Executing Call Steps

Step 1: Select "Preview and Run" next to the call step on your Cadences To-Do List.

Step 2:  The new workflow pane will appear. Sort your list as you'd like using the sorting features at the top.

Step 3: Click "Open" beneath a contact's name to start dialing. The call pane will automatically appear. From the call pane, select the number you'd like to dial and begin dialing.

Step 4: After the call, you can:

  • Log and complete, saving your call activity, moving your prospect to the next step in the cadence and queueing the next person on the call step
  • Log only, saving your call activity but leaving your prospect on the current call step, then queueing the next person on the call step
  • Complete only, moving your prospect to the next step in your cadence without saving your call notes, then queueing the next person on the call step
  • Log with Success, saving your call activity as a successful touch,moving your prospect to the next step in the cadence and queueing the next person on the call step
  • Minimize the log pane and move on to the next call using the steps above. You can always return to the log pane to save your call later.

Executing Other Steps

Step 1: Select "Preview and Run" next to the other step on your Cadences To-Do List.

Step 2:  The new workflow pane will appear. Sort your list as you'd like using the sorting features at the top.

Step 3: Click "Open" beneath a contact's name to begin. The other pane with instructions will automatically appear. 

Step 4: You can execute your other step in two ways:

  • Individually for each contact, by setting notes and selecting "Log and Complete" to save your activity and move you to the next person on the other step
  • In bulk, by selecting "Complete All"

 

 


Skipping Contacts on Step

To skip a contact on a step, click the three-dot menu on their contact card on the workflow pane. Then, click "Skip This Step."

 


Sorting Contacts with the New Workflow

To sort, just select the three-line menu at the top of the workflow pane. You can sort contacts by:

  • Due On
  • Last Name
  • Company
  • Starred
  • Replied
  • Timezone
  • Activity
