Customize Your Home Dashboard Layout
You can customize your view of the dashboard to best suit your role's needs. Customizing your layout means you get to choose the panels and page layout that best support your role.
In order to customize the layout, you must have the Home Dashboard Permission enabled.
Things to Note: The Home Dashboard Permission is enabled by default for Admin and User roles. If you would like to remove this permission, as a team admin, you must create a custom role and disable the permission.
After you customize your Home Dashboard layout, that layout will be present each time you navigate to the home page from any device.
To customize your Home Dashboard layout, follow these steps:
- From the Home Dashboard, click Customize Layout in the upper right corner of the page. A dropdown menu will appear.
- Select Edit Layout from the dropdown menu. The page will refresh to the Edit view.
- Use Customize Your Layout to select the panels you want displayed on your home page.
- Hover over any panel. Click and drag the panel to where you want it to be. Repeat for each panel until everything is where you want it to be.
- Change the size of the panel by clicking the bottom right corner of the panel and dragging it to its desired size.
- Click Save.
Add or Remove Dashboard Panels
You can choose which panels appear on the dashboard.
If there is a panel that you never use, remove it. It's that simple.
Things to Note: the Live Call Studio and Scheduled Actions panels only appear for users that have permissions to access those features.
To edit the Customize Your Layout, follow these steps:
- From the Home Dashboard, click Customize Your Layout in the upper right corner of the page. A dropdown menu will appear.
- Select Edit Layout from the dropdown menu. The page will refresh to the Edit view.
- Select the Add/Remove Panels button. This will open the panel configuration dropdown menu.
- All of the panels will be toggled on (appearing blue) by default. Click the toggle to remove a panel from the layout. When a toggle is off, it will appear grey. This panel will disappear from the page.
- Once you have disabled the panels you don't want, click Save.
Scheduled Actions Panel
Scheduled Actions shows how many activities are on your upcoming calendar.
Click the View button to navigate to the Scheduled Actions page and see the report.
Cadences To Do List Panel
Start executing your Cadence steps with the click of a button from your Cadences Panel. When any Person in SalesLoft is due (or overdue) on a step, that Cadence will appear in your to-do list. This is the best way for you to know that you have tasks that need to be completed.
To learn more about the Cadences Panel, check out the Home Dashboard Cadences Panel article.
Live Call Studio Panel
Live Call Studio allows you to listen, whisper, and join calls that are being made through the SalesLoft Dialer.
In order to use and access Live Call Studio, you must have Live Call Studio enabled. Once that is done, you can access Live Call Studio from the panel on your Home Dashboard.
Click the Launch button in the Live Call Studio panel. The Live Call Studio dashboard will open in another window.
Live Feed Panel
The Live Feed provides email tracking technology to deliver real-time alerts when your prospects interact with your emails.
From your dashboard, you can view Live Feed events in the Live Feed panel. You can learn more about the Live Feed panel in our Live Feed article.
Tasks Panel
SalesLoft Tasks creates one-off Call or Email actions that will take place outside of your Cadence workflow. Tasks are assigned to a SalesLoft Person with a date and time so you can stay on top of the action items you need to complete.
Tasks creation and management takes place from the Tasks Panel. To learn more about the panel and all that Tasks have to offer, check out the Tasks in SalesLoft article.
Reminders Panel
Your reminders act like virtual Post-it Notes that you can see on your dashboard or on a Person Profile page.
From the dashboard, you can see a list of reminders to keep you on top of your activities. Segment the reminders to see which are due today, over the week, over the next month, or hit Show All to see a list of all the reminders you’ve created.
In addition to filtering by a time range, you can also sort the list in ascending or descending order. Click the Sort button on the right side of the panel to sort reminders by the due date.
Revert to Default Layout
If a customized layout is no longer relevant or you want to refresh and start from the beginning, you can revert back to the system default layout from the home page.
To revert back to the default layout, follow these steps:
- From the Home Dashboard, click Customize Your Layout in the upper right corner of the page. A dropdown menu will appear.
- Select Revert to Default.
- A prompt will appear to make sure you want to switch to the default. Click Revert to Default.
- The layout will return to the standard view.
